Quick Answer

These terms and conditions are the agreement between you and Braintree Coaching Australia (ABN 87 681 295 223) when you use our website, book a trial, enrol your child, or sign in to our online classroom. By using our services you agree to these terms. In plain language: you may use our courses and materials for your own family's exam preparation only; you may not copy, share or resell them; fees are payable when you enrol and are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy; and your personal information is handled under our Privacy Policy. Nothing in these terms removes the rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Questions go to support@braintreecoaching.com.au.

Terms and conditions

Who do these terms apply to?

These terms and conditions apply to every parent, carer or student who visits our website, completes an enquiry or booking form, purchases a course or subscription, or signs in to our online learning platform. They cover https://braintreecoaching.com.au, any subdomains we use to deliver coaching, and the online classroom at classroom.braintreecoaching.com.au where students access courses and mock tests and parents complete enrolment checkout.

Braintree Coaching Australia is an Australian exam-preparation provider (not the PayPal payments service of a similar name). Because most of our students are children, a parent or legal guardian must agree to these terms and supervise the account. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must accept these terms on your behalf.

Who are we?

Braintree Coaching Australia is the business that provides the services described in these terms. Our details are:

References in these terms to "we", "us" and "our" mean Braintree Coaching Australia. References to "you" and "your" mean the parent, carer or student using our services.

When do you accept these terms?

You accept these terms when you first use our services — by browsing the website, submitting a form, completing a purchase, or signing in to the classroom. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. We may update these terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the current version, and your continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

How does enrolment work?

Enrolment is the process of purchasing a course or subscription so your child can access our classes, mock tests and study materials. When you enrol:

  • You provide accurate details. You must give us correct contact and student information so we can deliver the service and reach you about classes.
  • You complete payment. Access to purchased content begins once payment is confirmed. Pricing is set at the time of purchase and may change without notice; the fee you pay is fixed for that purchase.
  • You receive an account. We create or update a classroom account for your child. You are responsible for keeping the sign-in details secure.

We recommend sitting one of our free mock tests before you enrol — it is the surest way to know a course suits your child before you pay.

How does payment and pricing work?

Fees are payable at the time you enrol, in Australian dollars (AUD), through the payment methods shown at checkout. Once you have paid, the fee for that purchase is fixed even if the listed price later changes. If we reduce the price after you have paid, contact us and we will refund the difference.

Refunds, cancellations and your rights when content is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. Those rights under the Australian Consumer Law cannot be excluded by anything in this agreement.

How may you use our courses and materials?

You may use our courses, practice questions, worked solutions, videos and study materials for the personal exam preparation of the child enrolled in your account. This is a personal, non-transferable licence to access the content while your subscription is active. You may not:

  • Copy, download for redistribution, record, or republish our materials.
  • Share your account, sign-in details or content with anyone outside your household.
  • Resell, sublicense or use our materials for commercial tutoring or any other business.
  • Use automated tools to scrape, harvest or bulk-download content from our platform.

Access may be withdrawn without a refund if an account is used on multiple devices at the same time or if purchased content is shared with others.

Who owns the content on the platform?

Braintree Coaching Australia owns or licenses all intellectual property in our website, courses, practice papers, mock tests, worked solutions, branding and platform — including the original questions and explanations our teachers create. Nothing in these terms transfers that ownership to you. The personal licence above lets your family use the content for study; it does not give you any rights to reproduce or distribute it.

If you submit material to us (for example, feedback or a testimonial), you grant us permission to use it to provide and improve our services. We will only publish a testimonial with your consent, and we handle any personal information in it under our Privacy Policy.

What are your responsibilities?

To keep the platform fair and safe for every family, you agree to:

  • Keep your account secure. Use a strong password and do not let others sign in as you or your child.
  • Supervise your child's use. A parent or guardian is responsible for the student account and for supervising online activity.
  • Provide accurate information. Tell us promptly if your contact details change so we can reach you about classes.
  • Use the service lawfully and respectfully. Do not misuse the platform, attempt to disrupt it, or behave abusively toward our staff, tutors or other families.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these responsibilities.

How is your personal information handled?

We collect and use your family's personal information under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. Our full Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we store it, and how you can access, correct or delete it. By using our services you acknowledge that policy, which forms part of these terms.

What are the limits of our responsibility?

We provide exam-preparation coaching and materials to help your child prepare; we do not guarantee any particular exam result, score or selective-school offer, because outcomes depend on factors outside our control. We take care to keep our information current and our platform available, but we do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim connected with these services is limited to re-supplying the service or refunding the fee you paid for it. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. If a service we supply fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you are entitled to the remedies the law provides.

Can we suspend or cancel access?

Yes. We may suspend or withdraw access without a refund if these terms are breached — for example, if content is shared, an account is used on multiple devices at once, or the platform is misused. Where a breach is minor and capable of being fixed, we will normally contact you first. Your access otherwise ends when your subscription expires, as set out in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

How do we make changes to these terms?

Braintree Coaching Australia may update these terms from time to time — for example, when we add a service or the law changes. The current version is always the one published on this page, and the "Last updated" date above shows when it last materially changed. Significant changes that affect existing enrolments will be communicated to you by email where practicable.

Which law applies?

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you and Braintree Coaching Australia submit to the courts of that state. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
